Weldon C. Kennedy BIO

Born in 1935 in Haskell, Texas, Weldon Kennedy wasfromafamily of Christians who loved to singhymns ina cappella style.  He attended church singing schools, began to play brass instruments in the school band and was just generally enamored with music. He studied music theory at Abilene Christian College (it wascalledthen) and writes both spiritual music and secular music for voices and for musical instruments.  His first love, though, isthe writing ofhymns, thelyrics as well as themusic.
